Phish In 3d!

Phish 3-D, the movie featuring highlights from Festival 8 in Indio, CA, last fall, will hit theaters April 30th for a one-week run. Exclusive preview screenings will be April 20th in 9 cities, and tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday March 26th) via phish3dmovie.com. A trailer is out now, giving a taste of what's described in the official press release: "The fully immersive music and visual experience, featuring state-of-the-art 3D technology, gives viewers the sense that they are not only at the event, but on stage with the band that Entertainment Weekly has called 'the biggest cult band in America.'"

agree499 The theater near me in in NC sold out two hours before the Phish update email with ticket info was sent! I'm not sure how this happened but it sure doesn't seem fair.

zumavt I drove straight to the Majestic as soon as I heard about the movie so I'd have theater issued tickets. Such a wonderful token of appreciation for the hometown fans to include Burlington with the likes of NYC, DC, Chicago, LA and the rest of the advance screening locations.
