Satellite music service Sirius held a phone vote of listeners to "elect a new head [get it?] of state". The winner will be played all day long on Sirius Jam, a purportedly (and mostly) jambands channel, one of 65 the service offers. In a race between Phish and the Grateful Dead, the Dead reportedly won. Email Sirius and tell them you want a recount, or an absentee ballot! The Dead are fine, sure, but we want a full day of PHISH on Tuesday, either as we celebrate victory or fall back in shock. This is a heated, energetic, full-of-fire election. It's soundtrack's gotta have fire! :)
