Superfly, the folks behind Bonnaroo, are purported to be planning the Vegoose Music Festival to be in fields surrounding Las Vegas October 28-30, followed by a Halloween show at the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl, all accompanied by multiple-bill gigs at area clubs and arenas during the festival evenings. Different from Bonnaroo, this even will have minimal onsite camping and activities. Acts are reported to include Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon and Leo Kottke, Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, moe., the String Cheese Incident, The Black Crowes, Wilco, Ryan Adams, Umphrey's McGee, WIdespread Panic, Phil Lesh and Friends, The John Mayer Trio, Gov't Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, 311, and Keller Williams. A provisional website exists to hold the domain, suggesting that these rumors are true, but no additional information is yet available.
