The newest Mimi Fishman Foundation auction will benefit the Delta Gamma Center for the Visually Impaired. The auction began July 15 and runs through July 25. The auction features a healthy dose of Phish related items, various other jamband signed items and festival packages, as well as items unrelated to music, such as a War of the Worlds poster signed by Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning. Mimi Fishman had glaucoma and was a huge believer of helping out organizations that provided assistance to the visually impaired, especially charities those that focus on children. The Delta Gamma Center is committed to helping infants and young children who are blind or visually impaired reach their full potential by providing individualized education, therapy, and support services to them and their families.
